I believe that the U.S. has fallen in the education ranks not because we have a shorter school calendar, but because we have replaced competition in the classroom with the ‘feel good’ philosophy that everyone deserves to be rewarded, regardless of effort. Having worked in public education and having put a child through our public education system, I know that there are too many easy ‘A’ grades being handed out. Many students can put forth minimal effort and earn an “A”. This is what I refer to as the ‘self-esteem’ model of education.

The crux of the matter is this: Commercial IT certifications give employers exactly what they’re looking for – everything they need to know is in the title: i.e. I am a ‘Microsoft Certified Professional’ in ‘Designing Security for a Windows 2003 Network’. Consequently an employer can identify just what their needs are and which qualifications will be suitable to deal with those needs.


What’s the third way? 6. Dedication. Bachelor Degree.

Maori education has received much attention from government organisations and private institutions researching the uptake and successful completion of studies of Maori students. This has mainly been the result of lower per capita levels of higher education training from the Maori population when compared to the European based population in New Zealand. However, this plethora of research has highlighted that when Maori are educated in tertiary environments, that not only incorporate their culture, but also promote and encourage it in all of the facets of learning, that the levels of enrolment and subsequent successful completion of the course of education increases dramatically.

Teenagers are preparing to learn major skills that will assist them in making them independent capable individuals. Providing your teenager with the adequate skills and knowledge via homeschooling can at times be a testament to the validity and quality of a home school education. • Flexible learning at your own pace


I know what some of you are thinking. We always let them get away with mediocre work. We let them think they can make up 5 months of school in a week. We’re not doing them a favor, and we are being irresponsible and weak. We give them so many second chances as it is, with makeup credits, summer school, and deals with counselors, that they know they can mess around for most of the year and still get by. And I agree.

Fundraising is one of the oldest techniques used to access funds for churches, community projects and mostly schools. In East Africa, it is commonly known that the way to people’s pocket is through their stomach. East African’s generosity depends on the food you serve to the donors at a fundraiser. But so much have changed globally and people have become more focused in the reason behind giving and not just donating simply because the food was delicious and available.


Another benefit of distance education for finance is that often the complexity of the issues discussed requires a certain amount of clarification and one-on-one time with the tutor. Working towards an MCSE isn’t simply about qualifications – it should initially look at helping you to decide on the most valid way forward for you.
